Peavey Classic 30

Peavey Classic 30

Boss Digital Delay DD-3 and Super Chorus CH-1

The amp Scotty used most when performing since July of 2003, and earlier was a Peavey Classic 30 #09712586.  He liked this amp cause it's light.  It's a 30 watt single 12" speaker amp with 3 12Ax7 preamp tubes and a 4 EL 84  power tubes.  He sometimes drives this into a second Peavey or a Yamaha amp.  Scotty also uses a Boss DD-3 digital delay and CH-1 Super chorus pedal to help replicate that signature slapback echo sound.

He continued to use this amp in the studio and had been trying different amps at some performances, used this model through the remainder of his performing career and during his final performance in 2007.
